Hello Townie Readers!
Welcome to the new year (plus a couple of weeks, but who’s counting?) After taking a bit of a break for the holiday season, we’re back at it and looking forward to a year filled with amazing stories, photography, and more. We’ve also got ourselves a new logo, which was designed by none other than Arizona-based bikepacker, Shannon Villegas. We love it, we hope you do too!
We’re incredibly proud of what we were able to put together in the second half of 2022, including coverage of the Colorado Trail Race and Arizona Trail, lots of profiles of racers in our Faces Behind the Dots series, and lots of stories from racers and riders from around the world. It was a good start, and we’re looking to do even more for 2023. We think we’re off to a good start.
We’re always looking for new perspectives and stories. Whether you’ve just finished a bikepacking race, an overnighter from your front door, or have had some other meaningful experience on a bike, we’d love to hear from you. Also, if you know someone who has a story we absolutely need to know about, let us know. Our goal is to tell stories from women from all rides of life. We love writing profiles on riders and love providing a platform for others to share their stories from the bicycle. Stories have the power to connect people, and we’re looking forward to sharing more. Tell your friends.
Thank you all for reading and for your support. We can’t wait to see where the new year takes us.
Alexandera, Eszter, and Katie
